K & K Computer Solutions, Inc. is proud to introduce a new addition to our suite of software for law enforcement. Intelli-Narc is an intelligence tracking program developed and written solely for a Windows environment. Agents will not only enter information into the computer, they will be able to retrieve that information in a multitude of ways. Intelli-Narc can track any piece of information that an agent may come across in the InfoBase. Valid information may be stored such as DOB and physical characteristics or miscellaneous information such as an alias or the color of a hat: Subject Information. The strength of Intelli-Narc is the Search Engine which provides the ability to retrieve any or all of that information at a single request!
We are a well established software company that has been serving the needs of law enforcement agencies since 1986. We pride ourselves on the involvement our customers have had in the development of our products, and are continuing that tradition with our newest product, Intelli-Narc.
Because of our involvement with public safety agencies, we were approached by Drug Task Force Agents with the request to write a program that would track the miscellaneous types of information that they deal with. What we found during our research was many times there was a lack of ability to store or share valuable information. This information would frequently be scribbled on slips of paper and then be placed in a folder and filed away. Needless to say, this was ineffective. So we embarked on the process of combining the latest that technology has to offer, our experience in designing software, and the special needs of DTF units to provide a true intelligence gathering program that associates all the bits and pieces of information gathered during an investigation.
Intelli-Narc is now ready for release and interest in this product has been great. It is immediately apparant to agents in the law enforcement community that we have worked closely with people in their field in its design. And unlike our competitors, this product is not merely a records management system, but a program that allows for tracking and retrieval of all those valuable tidbits of information that were formerly lost in a file somewhere. By utilizing a powerful Search Engine, you are allowed to search for virtually any type of information.
We have also been fortunate to have met many other drug task force agents at DEA conferences. Since those meetings, we have been in development to create another portion to Intelli-Narc that is specifically geared towards tracking Pharmaceutical crimes. As with all our software programs, we are committed to making the enhancements necessary to provide the most comprehensive product for our customers. Among other things, this will tie drug type, doctor, subject and pharmacies together, as well as have the capability to track diverted drugs.
Currently, we are also working with a drug task force agency on designing the program to address the need for statistics necessary for both federal and state reports. It is our goal to be able to provide reports that will pull all needed information from a simple to use report menu. They are currenly tracking this information by various spreadsheets, in addition to the records management system they use. By having this information within a single software program, we will be able to eliminate redundant data entry!
We have utilized the lastest in technology by being a true Windows NT/2000 based program. This is not merely a "Windows Version", or a "Windows Compatible" program. Many of our competitors still run a DOS based program with a Windows front end. While this gives it the look of Windows, it does not offer the performance and stability that a true Windows based product does.
We have a simple, yet sound policy. We listen to our customers ever-changing needs and concerns, and create enhancements to the software based on those needs. By doing so, our customers as well as our company benefit.
