Property and Evidence is primarily used to log property that is being kept in custody of a law enforcement agency.
In the Property Information screen, you are provided with the capability to transfer, dispose, and release property all from one screen

The buttons at the bottom of the data entry screen provide for all of these functions and more. A blue background indicates information exists in the respective file. You may also add comments into the comments file for a specific piece of property. You can assign a subject to any single item of property or assign a subject to all property in a specific case. The ability to assign associated cases to a piece of property is given to assist you in investigations.
